Naturally,
the same standards will be employed at the Castle Tavern. He has
already installed many of the CAMRA award winning real ales his
premises are renowned for, and as an added extra that will please
locals and visitors alike, he has introduced a specially
commissioned real ale – “Flora Macdonald’s”. This is a speciality
beer exclusively brewed for The Castle Tavern by Isle of Skye
Brewery.
Also, a
special malt whisky menu is available displaying a selection of the
best quality malts from distilleries around Scotland. Carefully
chosen examples from Speyside, the north, the Western Isles and
Cambletown are described in his malt menu as: “a journey to savour
without leaving the comfort of The Castle Tavern". This
special selection was arrived at by joint consultation with
customers and whisky connoisseurs at the Clachnaharry Inn.
